About Image Editor

Edit images online in one place: crop, rotate, straighten, resize and flip, adjust brightness, contrast and saturation, apply one-click filters, add text overlays, then export to JPG, PNG or WebP. The editor also lets you remove EXIF metadata such as GPS location and camera details for privacy. Everything runs in your browser, so your photos never leave your device.

How to use the image editor

  1. Drop an image onto the editor or click to upload it.
  2. Use crop, rotate, flip and resize to fix the framing and size.
  3. Tune brightness, contrast and saturation, or pick a filter preset.
  4. Add text with the Text tool, then drag it into place on the image.
  5. Choose JPG, PNG or WebP, decide whether to remove metadata, and download.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. The editor is fully client-side — all editing and exporting happens in your browser, so your images never leave your device.

Does it remove EXIF and GPS data from photos?

Yes. Metadata removal is on by default and strips EXIF data like GPS location and camera model. You can untick the option if you want to keep the original metadata in a JPG export.

Which formats can I export to?

You can export to JPG, PNG or WebP, with a quality slider for JPG and WebP. WebP usually gives the smallest file at the same quality.

Can I add text to my image?

Yes. Open the Text tool, add a layer, then drag it onto the image. You can change the font, size, colour, alignment, rotation and opacity, and add an outline or background box for readability.

Can I crop to a specific aspect ratio?

Yes. In crop mode you can drag freely or snap to presets like 1:1, 4:3, 3:2 and 16:9.
